Your car is more up to date than mine was (I needed like 12 modules updated). Unfortunately, my progman was reporting only 12.40 volts and refused to do any programming until I'd applied a suitable power supply.

I had a 40 amp PS supplying 14.2 volts. I found that the changesbyxdrive (I was told this is the one for an E90) modifications hard-code 12.4 volts for some reason.

I didn't figure this out at the time, so I went with WinKFP to upgrade the modules' firmwares. It all worked with a few minor problems. See this thread:That said, those two modules shouldn't be much of a problem. I'd backup all your settings with NCSExpert first though. My IHK came back with all the settings different and without my backup I'd have had a tough time getting it back to US specs.Depending on the current firmware, a CCC upgrade may require a FSC enabling code to regain voice control.

I've linked to that in the above post.The dealer may have newer ISIS software, but it's just as likely they are using progman and just following the prompts just like you would do. If you want to update the programming of every module I would use WinKFP just because it is 100 times faster then SSS progman.

Once you get your files loaded into WINKFP it is a piece of cake to upgrdae the modules.Great. But how can I do it?The point is. In one day I was able to understand and use NCS Expert.After 1 week tests i wasn't able to understand WinKPFI was trying to search some tutorial on Google. But no one wrote a step by step guide about upgrading software with WinKPFI would upgrade CCC's software.Could you explain what do I have to do? News: i was able to start my CCC's coding but now I have a new problem.Everytime I start my CCC's upgrade, everything goes well for some minutes (i can see the progress bar going on) but, without any clear reason, the CCC's reboot and the coding report a fault comunication errorI was trying to code it many times but everytime I get the same error in different stage (sometimes in 22% - sometimes 35%)Actually, i can't use my CCCPlease, any help?I didn't think the CCC could be updated from the OBD port. I don't know what 'data status' update added the need for FSC codes, but after updating my BO with Progman V32 (data status: E89X-08-09-530) the FSC code was required. There's a DVD floating around with the FSC codes for a huge number of individual VINs, but it's not comprehensive for all models and countries.

I've got a list of the VINs, but it's a 18M text file and is bigger than the posting limit for an attachment.As far as changing the speech language of the CCC, I've never been successful. I was able to change the display language, but attempts to change speech had no effect.

No, in fact, it's much easier and faster with WinKFP. Progman makes it less problematic though. I picked a nice compromise by printing out the measures plan from Progman, then implementing it with WinKFP.I will try to do it in this way. I will NOT flash my DDE/DME (custom map) so this is an nice option! A dry run seems to be correct with WinKFP. All E89 DATA was imported. Only deleted 2 lines in the.as2 file and WinKFP 5.1.5 is running;-).Do you know the right way of updating NCSEXPERT?

Ive used the LADEN.BAT inside the data Folder of the SP-DATEN-E89. It works, but now i can choose CAS / FRM & a third (new) one to read out the FA.And yes, it seems to be really easy with the measure plan of SSS! Just type in the ZB# and if you have imported all data correct he will give you the correct ecu.Last edited by KB120D; at 03:54 AM.
